Lost property without public phone numbers

Private return labels for school gear.

TapBack gives every labelled bottle, jumper, bag, and device a private way home. A finder scans, sends a message through TapBack, and your family contact details stay off the item.

The school-day problem

Most lost property is not truly lost. It is just hard to return.

01

Names fade or get missed

Labels help only when someone can read them, match the name, and know where to send the item next.

02

Phone numbers feel too public

Families need to be reachable without printing personal contact details on every bottle, jumper, and case.

03

School offices get overloaded

TapBack gives finders a simple action, so return messages can reach the right family faster.

The return loop

A calmer way to get school gear back.

1

Create and name your labels

Use simple item names like blue bottle, trumpet case, blazer, or library bag.

2

A finder scans the QR code

The finder sees a private message form, not your personal email or phone number.

3

You receive the found-item alert

The email tells you where the item is, so pickup can happen through school.

Made for real school gear

One return system for the things families actually lose.

Drink bottles and lunchboxes

Everyday items that move between classrooms, playgrounds, sport, and after-school care.

Uniforms and bags

Jumpers, blazers, library bags, and sports bags can all carry the same private return flow.

Laptops and instruments

Higher-value gear gets a clear contact path without exposing family details.

Pilot family pricing

The Term 3 pilot is open for founding families first.

Privacy promise

Useful labels, without oversharing.

Finder pages show what helps an item get home, not the family's private contact details. TapBack is designed around parent consent, short finder messages, and minimal data. Read the Privacy Policy.

Pilot FAQ

Clear answers before families sign up.

Is the pilot optional?

Yes. The Term 3 pilot is parent/guardian opt-in only. No student or family has to buy TapBack.

Will my contact details be printed on labels?

No. The QR label opens a TapBack message page. Finder messages go through TapBack and private family contact details stay hidden.

What information does TapBack need?

TapBack needs a parent/guardian email, a delivery address for the tag pack, plan details, tag codes, optional item nicknames, and feedback. Delivery addresses are stored in TapBack's Supabase database for fulfilment, not in school systems.

Does my school have to manage TapBack?

No. Families sign up directly with TapBack. TapBack handles payment, delivery, setup, accounts, and support, while the school can keep using its normal lost-property process.
