Names fade or get missed
Labels help only when someone can read them, match the name, and know where to send the item next.
Lost property without public phone numbers
TapBack gives every labelled bottle, jumper, bag, and device a private way home. A finder scans, sends a message through TapBack, and your family contact details stay off the item.
TapBack emails the family. Their phone number was never shown.
The school-day problem
Labels help only when someone can read them, match the name, and know where to send the item next.
Families need to be reachable without printing personal contact details on every bottle, jumper, and case.
TapBack gives finders a simple action, so return messages can reach the right family faster.
The return loop
Use simple item names like blue bottle, trumpet case, blazer, or library bag.
The finder sees a private message form, not your personal email or phone number.
The email tells you where the item is, so pickup can happen through school.
Made for real school gear
Everyday items that move between classrooms, playgrounds, sport, and after-school care.
Jumpers, blazers, library bags, and sports bags can all carry the same private return flow.
Higher-value gear gets a clear contact path without exposing family details.
Pilot family pricing
A$29/year
The annual plan will reopen after the classroom pilot, when TapBack has clearer feedback on tag quantities and support.
A$79 one time
For early families who want to support the Term 3 pilot and give practical feedback while the product is still being shaped.
A$79 once is less than three years of the A$29 annual plan. Over five school years, that is A$66 less than paying annually.
Privacy promise
Finder pages show what helps an item get home, not the family's private contact details. TapBack is designed around parent consent, short finder messages, and minimal data. Read the Privacy Policy.
Pilot FAQ
Yes. The Term 3 pilot is parent/guardian opt-in only. No student or family has to buy TapBack.
No. The QR label opens a TapBack message page. Finder messages go through TapBack and private family contact details stay hidden.
TapBack needs a parent/guardian email, a delivery address for the tag pack, plan details, tag codes, optional item nicknames, and feedback. Delivery addresses are stored in TapBack's Supabase database for fulfilment, not in school systems.
No. Families sign up directly with TapBack. TapBack handles payment, delivery, setup, accounts, and support, while the school can keep using its normal lost-property process.
Get started
Enter your details, delivery address, and quick signup feedback before secure checkout. After payment, TapBack emails your private setup code so you can create and name your family tag codes while TapBack prepares the printed QR labels.
Pilot signup cutoff: 26 June 2026, so tag packs can be prepared before Term 3 starts on 14 July 2026. If the setup email does not appear quickly, check spam or junk and mark TapBack as not junk. Founding pass purchases are refundable if TapBack does not launch.
